Are You Strong Enough to Pull a Plane?
The St. Frances Cabrini Knights of Columbus are forming a team of 25 strong men to compete in the 2026 Smile Generation Plane Pull presented by United Airlines.
Together, the Cabrini Planiaks will pull a United Airlines jet 12 feet across the tarmac as quickly as possible. More importantly, we will be pulling to help children and adults with intellectual disabilities experience the joy, friendship, confidence, and belonging made possible through Special Olympics Colorado.
Whether you are ready to grab the rope, make a donation, or cheer from the sidelines, there is a place for you to be part of the Cabrini Planiaks.

Help Us Assemble the Cabrini Planiaks
Teams compete to pull a United Airlines jet 12 feet across the tarmac in the fastest possible time. We are recruiting parishioners, Knights, family members, friends, and other supporters who are ready to take hold of the rope.
- Teams may include up to 25 official pullers.
- There is no upfront registration fee.
- Our team must raise at least $1,250.
- No previous plane-pulling experience is required.
- Participants should wear sneakers and weather-appropriate clothing.
- Every participant must bring a signed event waiver.

The Cabrini Planiaks’ specific pull time will be announced closer to the event. The team lineup is expected to be posted approximately two weeks beforehand. Event times and details are subject to change.

The Plane Pull is not only for the people on the rope. Parishioners, families, and friends are encouraged to come out and support the Cabrini Planiaks.
The event will include team competitions, activities, vendors, games, snacks, and opportunities to celebrate Special Olympics Colorado athletes. An after-party is also scheduled to begin at Danico Brewing Company at 11:00 a.m.
