Please pray for the souls of our recently deceased loved ones, that they may rejoice in the gift of eternal life:
Tony St. John
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
The Catholic Church commends its deceased members to the mercy of God by means of its funeral rites. It likewise asks that the Christian faithful continue to offer prayers for deceased family members and friends. Masses celebrated for the deceased on the anniversaries of death or at other significant times continue the Church’s prayer and remembrance.
For funeral service pre-planning, please contact Trudy at 303-953-7769 or firstname.lastname@example.org to set up an appointment to review the process and procedures for a Funeral Service here at St. Frances Cabrini Parish. A packet of information outlining the funeral rite will be sent home with the family to be used at a later date.
At the time that a loved one has been called home, our Funeral Ministry will be happy to assist the family as follows:
Step 1: Contact Trudy at 303-953-7769 or email@example.com to set up an appointment to plan the Funeral Mass
Step 2: The family will meet with a priest to plan the Mass, a member of the Worship Ministry to plan the music and with Trudy to review the procedures and to discuss the graveside service.
Funeral Masses are held on weekdays at 10:30am and 1pm. No services are available on Saturdays or Sundays. Although cremation is permitted by the Church, families are encouraged to have the human body present at the funeral rites with cremation to follow.
